"It brings a new degree of immediacy to the past."
According to Chinavasion's Rose Li, at the launch of the 35mm film scanner, it was the stand alone functionality and the big screen which made the company stock the item in the first place.
"Older people don't have digital cameras, but they also tend not to have good vision" said Rose Li. "This makes tools like our 35mm film scanner absolutely essential to family historians.
