Shenzhen, Guangdong ( Blogr.com ) November 10, 2009 Wholesale drop ship company Chinavasion is calling on all online vendors and resellers to get ready for Christmas now and has launched a free Christmas preparation guide to help them out.
The holiday season is the peak season for retailers online and offline, when many people make much of their profit for the year selling Christmas gadgets, Christmas gifts and Christmas LED Decorations.
However, for any reseller that is unprepared Christmas can be a seller reputation nightmare that can, in some cases, sink a business.
This is so much so that Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk refuse to take on any sellers in the toys and games category from September till the end of Christmas and threaten to lift listings and ban accounts of poor performers.
According to Rose Li, PR Manager for China wholesale source, Chinavasion, this is largely due to supplier shortages and postage delays.
"End customers want their items shipped to them yesterday," said Rose Li. "If there is any sort of hold up, either in stocking, or in shipping the seller can see their customer feedback plummet."
To help out resellers and online traders Chinavasion has launched a free, easy to read, Christmas preparation guide to let sellers best know when to start stocking products and how to best prepare their customers.
"This is an ecommerce guide like no other," according to Rose Li. "It can be read in just 2 minutes but it will save a seller hundreds in reputation management and lost custom."
According to Rose Li the main message of the guide was that sellers should be building up stock levels now so that their customers would not be seeing any delays at Christmas time.
"Chinavasion is dedicated to helping its sellers build the most satisfied customer base," according to Rose Li. "That's why we ship 80% of our goods out in one working day, that's why we guarantee everything with a 12 month warranty and that's why we have released this guide."

According to Chinavasion's PR manager, Rose Li, the company's stand-alone 35mm film scanner is on the way to sell hundreds a month proving that there is a big market for a film scanner with a screen that is larger than 1 inch.
Thomas Gardener said scanning old slides and film used to take up a lot of his time until he brought the 35mm Film Scanner with LCD and SD Card Slot.
"With collecting all the films, taking them home to be scanned, breaking them into separate files and then returning them again saving old photographs was an incredible chore," said Mr Gardener.
"With this film scanner it is now possible to take the entire scanner to older relatives place and do film archiving work right there."
According to Mr Gardener the best part out of it is now his friends and relatives can see what is going on as soon as it happens.
"It brings a new degree of immediacy to the past."
According to Chinavasion's Rose Li, at the launch of the 35mm film scanner, it was the stand alone functionality and the big screen which made the company stock the item in the first place.
"Older people don't have digital cameras, but they also tend not to have good vision" said Rose Li. "This makes tools like our 35mm film scanner absolutely essential to family historians.

Big Screen Film Scanner Wows CES 09 Now Available To Electro...
Shenzhen, Guangdong ( Blogr.com ) September, 22, 2009 People digitalize 35mm negatives no longer have to guess at the quality of pictures thanks to an innovative new film scanner launched by wholesale electronics gadgets (http://www.chinavasion.com/index.php/cName/electronic-gadgets/) supplier Chinavasion this week.
Previewed at CES 2009 and launched on Monday by wholesale company Chinavasion the 35mm Film Scanner with LCD and SD Card Slot has a massive 2.5 inch screen opening up to the film scanner to a much wider market than previously available.
One of the main purposes of the stand-alone digitalized film scanner is to get important family pictures from 35mm film and slides into a digital medium where they can be stored and shared more easily.
But, if you're digitalizing many pictures, or if you're trying to do so with an older person who is having trouble with their eyesight the last thing you want to be doing is to squint at a screen which is, at most, no bigger than one inch.
According to wholesale electronics supplier Chinavasion's PR manager, Rose Li, this is the reason why Chinavasion started providing the 35mm film scanner with 2.5 inch screen.
"Older people don't have digital cameras, but they also tend not to have good vision," said Rose Li. "Film scanners almost fail in that respect before they even begin."
According to Chinavasion's Rose Li the wholesale dropship company made these electronics gadgets more accessible and market friendly by ensuring that it was priced under 100 USD and came with a roll film slot.
This meant that people with 35mm film in all forms could digitalize their pictures and it wouldn't cost the earth.
Rose Li said as all electronic gadgets at Chinavasion went through a double QC process, came with a 12 month warranty and were shipped from China in up to 4 days there was no reason for people not to buy one.
"Chinavasion's goal is to put the latest in technology from China in the hands of people everywhere."

Portable DVD Player "Burner" Bridges Gap Between PCs and Por...
Shenzhen, Guangdong ( Blogr ) September 12, 2009 - A new portable DVD player was launched earlier this week that 'rips' files while it plays, decimating the gap between the portable DVD player and the computer.
Previously, the portable DVD player was only something given to children to keep them quiet duirng a vacation, as they could do little more than play compact discs, DVDs and, occasionally, SD cards.
These limitations severely limited the marketability of the portable DVD, as most other devices had some form of data storage functionality.
According to Rose Li, the PR Manager for wholesale electronics supplier, Chinavasion, the limitation was so major that it was actually reducing the viability of portable DVDs in the long run.
"Laptops and netbooks are emerging now that cost just as much, if not less, than high-end portable DVD players," according to Rose Li. "Why pay top dollar for something that can just play discs when somebody could get something that does a lot more for just a little more outlay?"
China Wholesale company Chinavasion has realized this. And, in an effort to extend the lifespan of the portable DVD, launched a portable DVD player ( http://www.chinavasion.com/index.php/cName/home-audio-video-portable-dvd-players/ ) line that can rip files from CDs and DVDs as well as play them.
This is a revolutionary new feature, according to Chinavasion's Rose Li, and one that will makes the device relevant for today's market.
"If people are travelling and someone likes a picture, movie clip or song that is being played on the portable DVD the person showing it can just make them a copy of those photos right then and there," said Rose Li. "What else, besides a laptop, has that functionality?"
According to Chinavasion's Rose Li the new portable DVD players had huge potential for photographers, account managers and all maner of people who need to share data but don't want the expense of a laptop.
While some bigger brands might put a high price tag on such a function Rose Li said Chinavasion had made their line of portable DVD players with ripping functionality so affordable that anybody could buy one.
Even though these portable DVD players are on the bleeding edge Rose Li said with all portable DVDs going through a double QC process, coming with a 12 month warranty and in being shipped from China in up to 4 days there was no reason for people not to buy one.
"Chinavasion's goal is to put the latest in technology from China in the hands of people everywhere."

China Wholesale Chinavasion Says Wholesale Stock Is Key To A...
Shenzhen Guangdong (blogr) January 15, 2009 According to electronics wholesaler Chinavasion.com, Chinese manufacturers will be shutting their doors mid-January this year.
Businesses across China close their doors for the Lunar New Year festival from January 24 to February 1 as millions of urban residents travel back to their rural home towns.
To make matters worse for importers, electronics manufacturers in China routinely hold no stock. If the production lines are shut down, no new goods are available.
This means that anybody ordering stock during the January 24-February 1 Chinese New Year period will find that their order can take from two to four weeks to process.
According to Rose Li, PR Manager for China wholesale company Chinavasion, it didn't matter if you were using a China wholesale supplier, a wholesale dropship company, China electronics manufacturers or a China cellphones wholesale supplier the results were usually the same.
"It can be a shock to those who have just started doing business with China but it is a fact of life when you're importing from China," said Rose Li.
Chinavasion's Rose Li said Chinavasion had stocked up on all of its items to avoid delays and ensure customers would get their orders quickly.
"Chinavasion is the first ever electronics wholesaler holding stock on the ground in China. We specialize in serving medium wholesale orders and ebay dropshipping" said Rose Li.
As a result Rose Li said customers would see their products within a week instead of the several weeks it could take other China electronic manufacturers and electronics wholesale suppliers to get stock to customers.
Chinavasion's Rose Li recommended anybody sourcing from China stocked up before the break.
To avoid shipping delays Chinavasion's Rose Li recommends eBay traders, ecommerce store owners and retailers place orders before Monday January 19 to ensure products get to them before the Spring Festival break.
Customers can still order from Chinavasion in this period but items will not be shipped out until February 2nd when everybody returns to work from the Chinese New Year break.
China wholesale supplier, Chinavasion has put other measures in place, besides holding stock, to guarantee customers aren't inconvenienced by the holiday.
Chinavasion staff will be updating website information during this time, so stock levels are correctly reflected for ongoing orders.
According to Chinavasion's Rose Li the effect of the spring festival doesn't have to be negative, you just need to be prepared for a 2 week hiatus in your supply chain.
"With a little advance planning, and a reliable wholesale distributor, traders can keep their goods supply more or less uninterrupted," said Rose Li. "Chinavasion has taken this step and believes it is the only way to get through this normally difficult time of year."

Wholesale EDGE Modems Make Mobile Laptop Connections Painles...
Are you sick of overpaying for expensive laptop internet connections which don’t last the distance? Find out how wholesale GSM and EDGE modems can benefit you.
The Mobile Mash-up. How wholesale EDGE modems mash GSM phone and computer technology together in one tasty combination.
Are you a road warrior that still needs to send out and receive emails and have access to the internet? Are you tired of wasting your money for data download fees on wireless internet plans that are a hassle to connect and don’t always work?
One solution to your problems may be a wholesale 3G or EDGE Modem, the latest in internet connection technology in the wholesale market.
Any business person that’s spent a lot of time on the road will tell you that trying to keep their laptop connected to the internet has never been an easy endeavor. The plans are expensive and dial up and broadband connections are never capable of giving you universal coverage.
On the release of smart phones, like the 2G iPhone, the Blackberry and the HTC Mogul, saw ingenious businesspeople use the data allotments set aside for their mobile phones to hook their notebooks to the internet. They do this by ‘tethering’ their phones to their computers.
This isn’t an ideal solution for three reasons:
- You’re required to buy expensive hardware in the first place
- For arrangements where you get a free (or cheaper phone) you’re locked into a potentially expensive roaming contract.
- It means you need two phones as one is dedicated to running the laptop’s internet connection.
Wholesale electronic manufacturers have noticed the move towards tethering and have started making EDGE and 3G modems, which use GSM SIM cards as the driver.
These new types of wholesale modems take the idea of tethering to the next level for the following reasons:
You’re not wasting money on extra features: The problem with buying a phone that will just be used to tether to a laptop or notebook is that it’s probably going to be a smart phone. It will probably likely to be a lot more expensive than other phones and have a whole lot of features including a camera, the ability to store and play MP4 and MP3 files. Among other things.
While this is fantastic for anybody looking for phone it just adds up to wasted money for people using it as a modem. That is where wholesale EDGE modems really shine. Wholesale 3G and EDGE modems are a fifth of the price of smart phones (at the very least) and just do one thing… get you connected to the internet.

Just some of the fantastic 3G and EDGE modems available in China today.
They’re easy to connect: hooking up a dial-up and broadband connection isn’t exactly the easiest process the notebook and tethering your phone isn’t a walk in the park either. Setting up wholesale EDGE modems is just a plug in and play operation.
Good coverage: Anywhere you can get a cell phone signal you can get internet connection. This means that in places like Europe and countries like Japan, New Zealand and the more populated areas of the US have almost unbroken internet access.
You can use more than one phone company:. Any international businessperson will tell you that there’s nothing worse than trying to keep a connection to the internet going when you’re dealing with one provider in different parts of the world. With wholesale EDGE modems changing which provider you use is as easy as putting a different GSM SIM card into the phone.
If you’re tired of paying through the nose for an internet connection that’s hard to set up and isn’t exactly the shining beacon of reliability and you don’t want to offload megabucks on a smart phone then you owe it to yourself to check out the possibilities wholesale EDGE modems offer you.

April Shenanigans
The Easter Bunny certainly has had a lot of surprises for the World Wide Web so far this month. The usual slew of April fools jokes were played, an eBay bomb was dropped on eBook sellers and several new web 2.0 services took a larger grip on the netizen population's collective imagination
April First has always been a time for practical jokes and this has only flourished on the internet. This year was no exception with Google, Virgin Blue and Thinkgeek.com getting in on the high jinks. Chinavasion also told a little 'untooth' in the spirit of the day but more about that below.
Powersellers Unite Forum Members have been less than happy with eBay this month.
EBook sellers and general eBay traders got hit with what they wished were April Fools Jokes. Ebay announced on April 2nd that it would no longer allow auction type sales for digital products, which would only be able to sold in classified ads with no special category mentioning. This enfuriated eBook sellers especially as many had built up successful businesses using their seller reputations on eBay as credentials.
EBay didn't stop there however announcing soon after that sellers would no longer be able to comment on buyers. Forum members on PowersellersUnite, an Ebay-focused forum set up in protest to an similar move by eBay a few years ago.
Internet news hasn't been filled with stories of shenanigans though.
Boxedup users got to put their favorite items on Facebook
Web 2.0 services Boxedup and Twitter increased their hold on netizen's imagination, offering the ability to operate within Facebook.
