People Want Portable DVD Players To Do More: Chinavasion

At the start of October Chinavasion ran a poll/competition, Portable DVD Player Poll - Tell Us What You Think And Win A Prize, asking its customers what they wanted their portable DVDs to do.

It didn't take long for more than 20 people to respond with most looking for a more versatile player.

"I also think bluray playability is not a must have feature for now," according to Nilson Takashi Saito, one of the commenters on the blog. " Bluray is not so popular yet."

"I’d like to see a long list of compatible formats ... and a rip-function would be sweet," according to a commenter from the Netherlands, Merijn de Boer. "Some emulators, like on the Dingoo would be a total turn-on."
