According to wholesale electronics supplier Chinavasion's PR manager, Rose Li, this is the reason why Chinavasion started providing the 35mm film scanner with 2.5 inch screen.

"Older people don't have digital cameras, but they also tend not to have good vision," said Rose Li. "Film scanners almost fail in that respect before they even begin."

According to Chinavasion's Rose Li the wholesale dropship company made these electronics gadgets more accessible and market friendly by ensuring that it was priced under 100 USD and came with a roll film slot.

This meant that people with 35mm film in all forms could digitalize their pictures and it wouldn't cost the earth.

Rose Li said as all electronic gadgets at Chinavasion went through a double QC process, came with a 12 month warranty and were shipped from China in up to 4 days there was no reason for people not to buy one.

Her daughter, Anna Jarvis, was largely responsible for the inception of Mothers Day but was less than thrilled at the commercialism factor that had been tied into Mothers Day in later years.

US retailer trade body, The National Retailers Federation, said that last year US citizens spent an average of $139 per person on Mothers Day. Three billion dollars of the total $15.8 billion went on a special meal at a restaurant while a significant amount went on consumer electronics with shoppers spending $1.2 billion on something special for mom.

The Easter Bunny certainly has had a lot of surprises for the World Wide Web so far this month. The usual slew of April fools jokes were played, an eBay bomb was dropped on eBook sellers and several new web 2.0 services took a larger grip on the netizen population's collective imagination

April First has always been a time for practical jokes and this has only flourished on the internet. This year was no exception with Google, Virgin Blue and Thinkgeek.com getting in on the high jinks. Chinavasion also told a little 'untooth' in the spirit of the day but more about that below.

Powersellers Unite Forum Members have been less than happy with eBay this month.

EBook sellers and general eBay traders got hit with what they wished were April Fools Jokes. Ebay announced on April 2nd that it would no longer allow auction type sales for digital products, which would only be able to sold in classified ads with no special category mentioning. This enfuriated eBook sellers especially as many had built up successful businesses using their seller reputations on eBay as credentials.

EBay didn't stop there however announcing soon after that sellers would no longer be able to comment on buyers. Forum members on PowersellersUnite, an Ebay-focused forum set up in protest to an similar move by eBay a few years ago.

Internet news hasn't been filled with stories of shenanigans though.
